Drama Academies / School Holiday Workshops

At our after school academies and school holiday workshops we firmly believe in creating inspiring, fun and memorable learning experiences for children and young people. We promote and sustain effective communication in a positive, friendly and stimulating environment. We use readily adaptable drama through which children’s own ideas can grow and flourish.

LAMDA Tuition

Speech & Drama Tuition is now available at many of our academies. This tuition will utilise the framework of the ‘London Academy of Music & Dramatic Art’ (LAMDA) programme of study, which seeks to improve standards in communication and foster an appreciation of literature and drama. Students will have the opportunity to take part in examinations & achieve certification at the end of the autumn & summer terms, should they wish to do so. Please visit www.lamda.org.uk

Arts Award

We are now proud to offer our 11+ students the opportunity to work towards gaining the nationally accredited Arts Award. This award recognises how young people develop as artists, arts practitioners and arts leaders. Pupils will collect and record their achievements and evidence of these in a portfolio, including records of arts work they have seen or been part of, personal reflections on the process and their own research material. They can choose how to present their portfolio, perhaps making a folder or sketchbook, or a video diary or website.
