School Holiday Drama Workshops.

‘Learning Through Drama' holiday workshops can take place during any week or part of a week (minimum three days) out of term time. They are suitable for either primary or secondary age pupils and are available nationwide. The initial sessions will focus on helping the students to relax and promote the flow of communication. The main content of the workshop will revolve around the students devising their own pieces of drama, the theme of which can either be chosen by you or suggested by us. Ideas will then be supported and developed though the student's own imagination. The piece will then be ‘polished' & prepared for a final performance open to family members at the end of the workshop.

DEVISING WORKSHOPS – These workshops are ideal for those pupils at your school who may not necessarily be high academic achievers but who offer a spark of creativity when it comes to expression. The devising process offers an opportunity to develop skills in a positive way that will motivate students and ultimately raise achievement in the classroom. Popular themes include:

  • Freedom
  • The environment/ the World
  • Love & Hate
  • What if?
  • The future
  • Hopes & Fears

Again, these are just ideas and by no means form a comprehensive list. Please contact us to arrange a workshop to suit your schools' needs.
